Thanksgiving & Remembering
Saturday 10 July
The pandemic has touched all of our lives, in so many ways. We think it is really important to spend time collectively, remembering those we have lost, giving thanks for those who have helped us and looking forward to the future in hope.
This event is for anyone from the local community who wants to attend. We are hoping that all government restrictions will be lifted by July but if this is not the case, we may need you to register to attend. We will update this page if and when there is a final decision on this.
At the event, we are going to spend time naming and remembering those who have died, not only from Covid-19, at any time during the pandemic. If you would like to have someone named, please contact the office. We may also ask for a picture of them to be included in a montage, with your permission.
We are also going to spend time giving thanks for the many blessings we have received and for the work of so many people over this challenging time: key workers, the NHS, local foodbanks, our family, friends and neighbours.
We are still working on the details of the event so please check back here closer to the date. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact the office (form below) with any questions you may have.
We look forward to hearing from you and to joining with you to remember and give thanks at Emmanuel on 10th July.
