Mission
We are delighted to be partnering closely with our Mission Partners in prayer, financial support and a variety of other ways. Some of our partners are overseas whilst others are more local to us here in the Kingston borough. But they are all in need of our support.
We support some of these partners through the regular giving of our members while others are supported through our annual Mission Gift Day which takes place in May each year.

Insight are a local, Christian charity that brings the message of Christianity to local schools in Kingston upon Thames by offering free lessons, collective worship and Bible clubs. Emmanuel Church has been supporting Insight since it’s inception. We partners with Insight each year on both the Christmas Journey (welcoming Year 2 children to Emmanuel) and the Easter Experience (welcoming Year 4 children to Christ Church).

Emmanuel supports The Hephzibah Project which is run by Henneke. Henneke is based in Athens and works with refugee and asylum seeking women and in trauma care.
Oxygen is a well established youth work charity based in Kingston upon Thames, set up by young people from local churches, including Emmanuel.
Oxygen’s tagline is Believing in Young People. All of Oxygen’s work seeks to empower young people to develop to their full mental, physical, emotional and spiritual capacities and enable them to realise their potential.

Kip Chelsaw, along with his wife Rachel, lead Christ Church Loresho from their home in Loresho, Nairobi. Kip was on staff at Emmanuel while he was training for the ministry at Oak Hill College.

Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) is a local charity which has been supporting single people experiencing homelessness in the Borough of Kingston for over 30 years. KCAH provides immediate, professional support with nonjudgmental empathy and clear options, supporting people to secure and maintain a safe, stable home.
