Jesus rising from the dead 2000 years ago is a life-changing event – if it is true. So is it? Jesus’ followers needed convincing it was true. Thomas said he would only believe if he could see the risen Jesus and the wounds from his execution. When he met Jesus he declared to him ‘My Lord and my God!’ He realised it was true, Jesus had risen. This is a quiet, contemplative service with Bible readings, songs, prayers and a talk, leading up to 3pm which marks the hour of Christ’s death
