A couple of Sundays ago we thought about the difference between being a church customer and being a church family member. Paul Tripp makes this same comparison and makes the following observation:
‘We’ve developed into a high-expectation and low-commitment church culture. Sure, we’ll put a little money in the plate, volunteer occassionally at a ministry event and exchange superficial prayer requests with one another, but we’re not radically committed to the local church like the New Testament describes.’
This coming Sunday morning (25th Oct) in our next passage in Ephesians we will be looking at how we should be relating to one another.
